It started with a simple frustration: why should creating AI art require expensive GPUs, complex installations, or monthly subscriptions? In 2024, as AI image generation exploded in popularity, we watched countless creators hit barriers - either financial or technical.
That's when we discovered the Stable Horde network - a grassroots community of volunteers sharing their GPU power to make AI generation truly accessible. We knew we had to build something on top of this incredible foundation.
AI Gallery was born from the belief that creativity shouldn't be gated by hardware limitations. We built a platform that runs entirely in your browser, stores everything locally for privacy, and connects you to a community-powered network that makes AI art generation possible for everyone.
